Chemical Compatibility – Fluoropolymer Liners


Entegris offers two fluoropolymer liners within the NOWPak® liner-based bottle and canister system. The T650 liner is a single-layer PTFE film welded to an injection molded natural virgin PFA fitment. The T420 liner is a two-ply PTFE film welded to an injection molded natural virgin PFA fitment. Fluoropolymers such as PTFE and PFA are excellent options when more aggressive chemicals are required for your application. 

These fluoropolymer materials offer superior levels of chemical compatibility versus other commonly used fluid handling polymers. This chemical compatibility list demonstrates a selection of these aggressive chemistries. It is a compilation from many sources and is intended to be a general guideline for materials selection and is not all-inclusive.
